MACON THE STAGE
Macon the Stage is a community event that offers emerging, established, and experienced artist an opportunity to exhibit their creative brilliance. It brings people together, and honors historical and trailblazers of the performing arts, who have contributed to Macon’s rich “artsphere.” Macon the Stage is the ultimate “Edutainment” event! The event is anchored by a partnership between the Douglass Theatre, Land Mindz Incorporated and Atlanta Black Thetare Festival, to raise funds that support youth in attending summer theatre camps in Macon.

FRIDAY, 8:00pm-9:30pm: PLAYWRIGHT'S REVUE Kickback and enjoy, with a sneak peek of today’s top rising stars. This creative showcase includes singing, dance, spoken word, and comedy artist from the local community and across the diaspora. Limited Seating Available. +$5
COME LEARN
SATURDAY, 11:30am-12:30pm: ARTISTRY WORKSHOP
A "Learn Out Loud" workshop, where participants are provided an opportunity to master the fundamentals and hone his/her creative skills to succeed on and off stage.
Limited Slots Available. FREE for youth (10-15yrs old).
$5 at-door donation for individuals 16 & up.

SATURDAY, 5:30pm-6:45pm: THE "VIP" EXPERIENCE
An Upscale Lounge/ Smart Casual Attire reception that features an exclusive themed performance that pays homage to an industry-changing artist of yesterday and today over food & spirit-filled drinks; includes admission to Closing Performance Exhibit +$35
